[vc_column_text]ノルウェーが誇るシューゲイズ・バンドThe Megaphonic Thriftによる初となる日本ツアーが決定した。1st、2nd、3rdと日本盤をリリースし着々と日本でもファンベースを築いてきたノルウェー・ベルゲンを拠点に活動する4人組バンド。Young Dreams、Stereo21、Casiokidsなどノルウェーを代表するインディー・バンドのメンバーを含む北欧のスーパー・バンドとしても知られている。

デビュー作では90年代のSonic YouthやDinosaur Jr.などUSオルタナティブの空気を見事なまでに高らかに掲げ、続くセルフタイトルを介した2ndアルバムでは、美しいギター&シューゲイザー・サウンドの轟音の果てに辿り着いた、ダイヤモンドダストのような鋭く、きらびやかに輝きだす洗練されたシューゲイザー・サウンドでファンを魅了してきた。3rdアルバムは、更に進化したシューゲイザー・サウンドを内へ内へと内在化して探究された、The Megaphonic Thriftがこれまで追い求めて来たシューゲイザー・サウンドの“真理”とも捉えられる究極のサウンド=音の塊が詰込まれた結晶のようなアルバム。フロントマンRichard Myklebustと、紅一点ベーシストLinn Frøkedalの美しいコーラスが交差するツインボーカル、4thアルバムでは彼らのキャリア史上最高のサウンドが展開される。[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”50px”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
